RESEARCH COMMITTEE
Chair: Lauren Balletto, MS, OTR, CHT
Purpose
The TX ASHT research committee is spearheading an investigative study to review the treatment trends and functional outcomes following one of the most common and debilitating injuries- distal radius fractures. By conducting this study through chart reviews, we are hoping to provide insight into the various techniques and CPT codes utilized in managing this diagnosis. We also hope to determine the long-term outcomes that are seen following skilled hand therapy management after a distal radius fracture.
